Tommorow's Trials

 

Go about your daily ritual collecting sticks and stones.

Then go about your nightly ritual smacking demons with sticks and stones.

The game was created in a 48 hour game jam, in a team of 3, with the theme being "Ritual".

My Role:

I was the sole programmer of this project, and was happy to work alongside 2 other artists. The game design was a group effort, and creating everyone's ideas through code was definitely a fun time. While I was at college at the time, this was my first game jam where I felt very capable to take on the role myself, and create something great! One of my regrets is not having enough time within the 48 hour constraint, to program steering behaviors on the enemies, instead of having them walk back and forth. My time management throughout the rest of the project went well, as extra time was alloted for things to potentially go wrong (and boy did they), but everything was cleaned up by the end, and the game turned out well.
